Cookie Policy
Last updated 2026. This policy explains how the Vakeel CMS website uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can control them.
1. About this policy
This Cookie Policy is issued by Vakeel CMS, a trading name of Vakeel Ltd (company number 17346646), registered office 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy. It applies to this marketing website, not to the Vakeel CMS application, which is covered by your service agreement.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, which lets a site remember information in your browser. We use both sparingly and describe each use below.
3. The categories we use
- Strictly necessary. Required for the site to load, to keep it secure, and to remember the choices you make in the consent banner. These are always on and do not need consent, in line with the ePrivacy rules and the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations.
- Preferences. With your consent, we store your region choice, UK or India, in your browser local storage so the site shows the right content and pricing on your next visit.
- Analytics. We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If we add privacy-friendly, aggregated analytics in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.
4. The specific items we set
- vakeel_consent (local storage). Purpose: records your consent choices so we do not ask on every visit. Duration: until you clear it or change your choice.
- vakeel_region (local storage). Purpose: remembers whether you chose the UK or India experience. Category: preferences. Duration: until cleared.
- Security cookies set by our hosting platform. Purpose: to serve the site securely and protect against abuse. Category: strictly necessary.
5. Your choices and consent
When you first visit, a consent banner lets you accept all cookies, reject everything that is not strictly necessary, or manage each category. Strictly necessary items cannot be switched off because the site cannot run without them. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer, which reopens the banner. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.
6. Managing cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies and clear local storage in your browser settings. Every browser is different, so check its help pages. Please note that blocking strictly necessary items may stop parts of the site working.
7. Third parties
We do not use advertising networks or third party tracking cookies on this site. Web fonts are loaded to render the site; where this is provided by a third party, it is used only to display the page.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves or the law changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
9. Contact
Questions about cookies can be sent to contact@vakeelcms.com or by post to Vakeel Ltd, 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX.
